Vector Group

Transformers will be connected as per vector group reference Dyn11. Other vector groups can be offered as per specific requirements.

Terminal Arrangement

H. V. - Bare Bushings or Cable Box, L. V. - Bare Bushings Or Cable Box. Disconnecting chambers

can also be provided on both HV and LV Cable boxes.

Temperature Rise

Our transformers are designed for a maximum temperature rise of 40 / 50 degree C of oil/Winding. Lower temperature rise can be offered On request. Pre-compressed board PARMALI board and JAPANEESE insulation paper of best quality is used.

CORE

Power Control Centre Panel

The core is constructed from low loss, cold rolled, grain oriented, annealed laminations of electricals heet conforming to the latest international standards. Special frame is built in-house for clamping the core to reduce the magnetic noise as well as making the whole structure rigid and robust.

WINDING

Coils are wound with electrolytic high conductivity paper covered or synthetic enamelled copper conductors. Cooling ducts are provided to keep the hot spot temperature as low as possible. Coils are dried in electric ovens. Rigid connection support and col clamping is provided to ensure high short circuit strength.

The panel boards will be fabricated with CRCA sheet steel of thickness not less than of thickness not less than 2.0 mm and will be folder and braced as necessary to provide rigid for all components. The doors and covers will be constructed from CRCA sheet steel of thickness 1.6 mm. Joint of any kind in sheet metal will be elect. Welded and all welding slag ground off and welding pit wiped smooth plumber metal.

OlL

Oil is tested for resistivity, dielectric and acidic characteristic conforming to IS-335. Before topping up oil is filtered thoroughly.

TANKS

All panels and covers will be properly fitted and square with the frame. The holes in the panel will be correctly positioned.

Fixing screws will enter holes tapped into an adequate thickness of metal or provided with hank nuts. Sel-threading screws will not be used in the construction of the switchboards.

The tanks are made of M.S steel plates/ sheets with adequate bracing&stiffness. Tanks are pressure tested to withstand any type of inside or outside pressure. All the external surfaces are given a primary coat of zinc chromate, red oxide an two finishing coats of grey paint. The inner Surfaces are given a coat of heart and oil resisting paint.

QUALITY CONTROL AND ROUTINE TESTS

All our transformers undergo rigorous quality control checks and are routine tested as per IS in our fully equipped laboratory. Any specific test required by the customer can also be arranged.
